Are you ready?
We hope 2025 is off to a great start! With the start of a new year comes the first phase (February) of the NetSuite 2025.1 Release upgrade, and the upgrade will continue with the second phase (March) and third phase (April). The NetSuite Release 2025.1 contains enhancements which are intended to improve business efficiency, streamline operations, and boost user experience.
The first group of NetSuite customers were moved to 2025.1 this past weekend (Feb 15 and Feb 16). While normally we see limited impact by the upgrade, this past weekend customers recurringly faced issues in the below four areas. If you are seeing challenges in your Production instance or in your Release Preview testing, please contact mPower for work around solutions until resolved by NetSuite.
- Shared and Public CSV import files
- Drag n Drop not working
- Sticky Notes not working
- Entering zip code does not populate city and state for Addrexx customers
If you want to learn more about your schedule and the release, look in the New Release portlet of your dashboard. The portlet includes your Scheduled Upgrade Date along with links to the Release Notes and Release Preview Guide. Additionally, you can request a Release Preview environment by navigating to Setup > Company > Release Preview. Upgrades are scheduled during non-business hours and clients should not experience any downtime or disruptions.
As a best practice, we recommend requesting a NetSuite Release Preview environment. This is a sandbox environment of your company’s instance with the 2025.1 updates. In the release preview environment, it is a best practice to perform regression testing that includes processes related to order to cash, procure to pay, inventory and record to report.
