The NetSuite 2026.2 release introduces several enhancements across pricing, inventory management, supply planning, and analytics designed to improve operational visibility, streamline planning processes, and support more informed business decisions.
NetSuite has expanded pricing transparency on Sales Order lines by providing greater insight into how final prices are determined, including whether pricing originates from base pricing, rule-based pricing, or customer-specific agreements. This enhancement helps users better understand pricing decisions, simplify audits, and manage pricing exceptions more efficiently.
In addition, pricing records can now be managed through the CSV Import Assistant, enabling organizations to import multiple pricing records, price rules, and pricing updates in bulk. This significantly reduces administrative effort and accelerates pricing maintenance activities.
Several new inventory features improve planning accuracy and inventory control:
The release introduces Inventory Optimization for Reorder Point Planning, helping supply planners establish optimal inventory parameters based on demand trends, lead-time variability, and service level objectives. Planners can configure optimization preferences, leverage predefined inventory segments, include eligible items in optimization runs, and automate inventory segmentation activities.
Supply Planning now supports automatic work order creation following planning runs or when releasing eligible planned work orders through the Planning Workbench. This functionality eliminates the need for a separate Mass Create Work Orders process and provides greater flexibility by allowing organizations to independently configure automation settings for both Master Production Schedule (MPS) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) items.
The Supply Planning Workbench now displays additional supply and demand quantities alongside item descriptions, enabling planners to evaluate results more efficiently without navigating between screens or manually compiling data. Enhanced quantity visibility provides quicker access to critical planning metrics and improves decision-making.
A new Inventory Optimization Results Workbook consolidates item-location planning data into a single view. Users can compare service levels, demand patterns, lead-time metrics, safety stock levels, reorder points, and preferred stock levels, making it easier to assess planning effectiveness and identify manual overrides.
To help organizations optimize pricing performance, NetSuite has introduced new Item Pricing Analytics within SuiteAnalytics. These tools provide greater visibility into realized revenue and margin performance compared to pricing expectations, helping organizations evaluate pricing strategies and identify opportunities for improvement. The two new datasets include:
