Manufacturing

Manufacturing companies use NetSuite's cloud manufacturing ERP to provide end-to-end improvements in information, workflow, process, quality, and agility before, during, and after production.

End-to-End Efficiency Improvement

From the shop floor to the top floor, NetSuite helps growing manufacturers control, coordinate, and manage every aspect of their operations in one place. A single manufacturing ERP system for CRM, sales, quoting, order processing, planning and scheduling, procurement, supply chain visibility, order management, production control, quality management, shop floor control, product data management, financials, budgeting, reporting, and compliance gives every department complete corporate visibility. Everyone in the organization knows what they need to be doing when they need to do it, while management can see manufacturing KPI’s and performance across every function and quickly identify exceptions that require action.

Because no two manufacturers are the same, NetSuite software offers the power and flexibility to support and adapt to your exact processes as they change over time — whether you run discrete, batch, or mixed-mode manufacturing across one location or many.

NetSuite Manufacturing ERP: Core Capabilities

NetSuite Helps You Balance Demand and Supply - Image 1

NetSuite Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is a complete cloud solution for high-growth, mid-sized businesses and large enterprises. For manufacturers, it automates front- and back-office processes including financial management, revenue management, fixed assets, order management, billing, and inventory management. Automated tracking provides real-time insights into stock levels, item locations, demand patterns, and order status. Automated reorder points allocate inventory more effectively, reducing carrying costs while minimizing the risk of stockouts and missed production runs.

NetSuite Supply Chain Management helps manufacturers create purchase orders, transfer orders, and work orders simply and effectively. Real-time visibility means you always know your supply chain status and can quickly identify and act on cost variances as they occur. NetSuite provides full distribution requirement planning (DRP) capabilities for multi-location planning, and supports requests for quote, blanket purchase orders, and purchase contracts to ensure the right materials are available at the right time, in the right place.

NetSuite Manufacturing provides your organization with the capabilities to turn components into finished goods. SuiteSuccess for Manufacturing includes work order management, WIP and routing, BOM revision change control, ghost BOMs, multi-level assemblies, linked WO-PO, and standard costing. The WIP and Routing module lets organizations track work-in-process and material consumption at work centers, with time allocation to each manufacturing step.

Production scheduling achieves the balance between complexity and usability with a real-time scheduling engine that supports both forward and backward scheduling, finite and infinite capacity planning, flexible sequencing, and drag-and-drop manual overrides. Each location can configure production control independently to fit its own facilities and data requirements, with automatic status updates, real-time work order views, and batch completion processing. NetSuite also supports LIFO, FIFO, average, standard, and actual costing methods, giving manufacturers the flexibility to cost inventory the way their business requires.

NetSuite Advanced Manufacturing enhances core manufacturing capabilities with real-time visibility, finite capacity planning, detailed work center calendars, and a MES tablet-based interface. Designed for both discrete and batch-driven manufacturers, it ensures your product is produced and delivered as intended with full end-to-end lot traceability — every batch is individually processed and tracked. Advanced Manufacturing also supports FIFO material issuance for lot-controlled items, batch travelers with automatic batch lot IDs, and a configurable tablet-based Quality Management solution for teams that need shop floor quality controls integrated directly into production workflows.

"Meridian helped Pro1 embark on our first ERP installation in 2017. We’ve worked together through the ups and downs of fully migrating our company onto the NetSuite platform – from accounting, to sales and operations. Meridian has been responsive to our needs and a good business partner. We look forward to continuing work with their entire team as we build our business and continue to look for ways to maximize Pro1’s use of NetSuite."

“Your team did an outstanding job getting Cobalt Ventures on its own NetSuite instance. [Meridian} was very dedicated to the success of our project and was instrumental in making sure we understood the status of the project, our responsibilities on the project and bringing the project in on schedule and under budget. Thank you for your dedicated efforts and we look forward to working with you again."

“Meridian Business worked with us early on. They engaged with us to learn about our business and researched solutions for our needs. Even though we looked at other solutions, we ultimately came back to Meridian because they know our business better than anyone else. They dedicated a lot of time and energy understanding our needs and desires."

David Strickland Chief Operating Officer

"...we selected NetSuite to increase data visibility across the organization, consolidate systems, and streamline all order entry points - helping us continue our long history of providing customers with the highest quality products and services. Meridian's expertise in project management, data migration, and inventory management made us confident they would help meet the unique needs of our business."

"We have been working with Meridian Business Services for about two years now. They have gone to great lengths to help us move smoothly into a new ERP system through their NetSuite implementation services. We have a business where each building is very custom built, which makes it difficult to fit into any ERP system. Being that we are very custom, we hit some bumps during our NetSuite implementation. Meridian went above and beyond to help make the system work to fit our custom business. We now have a large amount of financial information on a daily basis to help run our business like we have never had before."

Jeff Pinter, Chief Financial Officer

Worldwide Steel Buildings Greater Kansas City

"Fishtech Group has worked with Meridian for 3 years. We moved our business from a national accounting firm with a division that specializes in NetSuite, to the Meridian team in order to transform our NetSuite ERP during our growth from a startup to a $100M company. Meridian has always been extremely responsive, and their team’s technical knowledge has allowed us to drive efficiencies across multiple aspects of our business. They understand their clients’ needs and never try to oversell what is needed for a mid-market business. The Meridian leadership team has significantly outpaced the competition, and it is a pleasure to work with them."

Fiscal Year Promo 2026 - Image 3

Netsuite’s Fiscal Year Ends May 31

That means NetSuite is currently offering some of the most aggressive pricing we see all year.

For companies already considering a system upgrade, this can significantly reduce both licensing and implementation cost.

Why Meridian?

Meridian is a NetSuite Solution Provider. We’re able to offer preferred system implementation pricing as part of that process.

Not suggesting anyone rush into a decision – but if a systems upgrade has been on the radar, this window tends to be the most favorable from a cost perspective.
